What if I do not have a NJ Master HVACR License?
If you are not currently an active license holder, you will first need to obtain one. To get a New Jersey HVAC license, you must meet the required work experience and educational standards set by the State Board. When applying, you must provide documentation verifying that you have completed the state-mandated education and field experience, which typically includes graduating from an approved HVACR training program, completing a four-year registered apprenticeship, and working for one year as a Journeyman.
