“The HVAC program is very, very good. I came in with some prior knowledge, but the hands-on training here has taken it to another level. For me, learning by doing is much more effective than just reading about it. One of the biggest advantages of this program is the flexibility. My shift schedule made it impossible to attend other schools. The Training Center’s structure makes it much easier to balance work and learning. I also really appreciate the mix of in-person and Zoom classes. The ability to go back and review the Zoom lessons in the portal has been really helpful.

What sets this program apart is the level of support from the instructors. They take the time to explain things, answer questions, and make sure you really understand. There’s no judgment, just a strong focus on learning and improving. The training is excellent. Before, I didn’t really understand electrical concepts, but now I feel confident in my ability to read schematics and troubleshoot equipment. “I used to work in a restaurant, and we were always dealing with broken ice machines and refrigerators. Every time they broke down, I’d thought it would be great if I knew how to fix them myself, that’s what first got me interested in HVAC. “I’ve always been drawn to hands-on work. I started in construction and spent a few years doing painting, which I enjoyed, but I knew I wanted something more, something with stability, a skill I could build a long-term career on. I considered different trades, like electrical and plumbing, but when a friend told me about HVAC and how well he was doing, it caught my attention.

I started looking at different HVAC schools like Lincoln Tech, Fortis, and a few others, but they were very expensive. Then I found The Training Center, the tuition was way more affordable, and they did more hands-on learning. Since starting the program, I’ve learned way more than I expected. I can now explain how to install a system, wire a thermostat, and set up a condenser. The instructors here actually care. They don’t just take your money and move on, they make sure you understand the science behind everything, they break it down step by step, and they always check in to see if you have questions.

I really enjoyed the HVAC tech program. It was very informative and the instructors were extremely knowledgeable.
I learned how to wire a board plus trouble shoot multiple air handling units.
I am now confident that i can fix someone’s ac/heat without a doubt.
My favorite part was the fact the this program is strictly hand on.
What makes this HVAC program unique from the others that I looked into was the fact it’s extremely hands on. We learned a lot thru the webinars but I learned the most by using my hands and physically dealing with the units/boards.

Honestly, this place became like family to me. I searched all over New Jersey and Philadelphia trying to find the right HVAC school, and I’m really glad I found this one. It’s not just theory — they actually make you work, troubleshoot, and learn real hands-on skills… sometimes standing in front of a unit for a long time trying to figure out why it still won’t turn on.

They also help you with career opportunities, not just the education itself.

The Training center is a place I highly recommend to go if you are looking to get a head start in Boiler Operating/HVAC. As someone who is new to this field, they have helped me get started in my journey in boiler operating. They incorporate classes to learn what’s done in the field in an understanding way and answer all questions, they give you the opportunity to go to facilities for hands on training to see how it’s done in person and they have workshop simulations at the school to learn more. Would highly recommend if you are trying to start a career. It’s never too late!
