“I’ve always been drawn to hands-on work. I started in construction and spent a few years doing painting, which I enjoyed, but I knew I wanted something more, something with stability, a skill I could build a long-term career on. I considered different trades, like electrical and plumbing, but when a friend told me about HVAC and how well he was doing, it caught my attention.

I started looking at different HVAC schools like Lincoln Tech, Fortis, and a few others, but they were very expensive. Then I found The Training Center, the tuition was way more affordable, and they did more hands-on learning. Since starting the program, I’ve learned way more than I expected. I can now explain how to install a system, wire a thermostat, and set up a condenser. The instructors here actually care.
